Groupe SEB wins " Ethique & Gouvernance " Trophy
The "Ethique & Gouvernance" Trophy, created in 2002 by the Ecole des Dirigeants et Créateurs d’entreprise (EDC) business school in Paris, recognizes companies who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the area of ethics or governance.
On the 10th of February, the awards were presented at the Theatre Marigny, in Paris, by a jury made up of ten key figures from the business and higher education communities.
Groupe SEB won the Trophy in the « Large French Company » category, on the basis of the Group’s:
- commitment to sustainable development and its integration in the Group’s essential processes;
- initiatives to help the underprivileged via the Groupe SEB Foundation;
- encouragement of young talents.
Three other companies were honored at this event too: Ben & Jerry’s, winner in the category "Large Foreign Business", Armor Lux, winner in the category "Medium-sized French Company" and Jean Paul Gaultier, named "Entrepreneur of a passion" by the 1 000 students of EDC Paris.
