General Shareholders’ Meeting
To attend the General Shareholders’ MeetingNotification

Groupe SEB’s Annual General Meeting is held each year at the beginning of May in Paris. By attending, our shareholders are kept informed of the Group’s economic results, financial situation, management and strategy. This is also an opportunity to meet the executives and have discussions with them.

How to attend the General Shareholders’ Meeting

All Groupe SEB shareholders, no matter how many shares they own, can attend the meetings personally, send a representative or vote by mail.
Shareholders holding registered shares receive a letter of convocation for the General Meeting directly from the company.
Bearer shareholders need to contact their financial intermediary to obtain the shareholding certificate for their shares.

There are 3 types of meetings :

  • Annual General Meetings are held at least once a year; they approve the accounts, set the dividend amount and appoint the directors ;
  • Extraordinary General Meetings adopt any changes to the bylaws and new security issues ;
  • "Combined" Shareholders’ Meetings adopt resolutions, some of which come under the Annual General Meeting’s authority and others under the Extraordinary General Meeting’s authority.

Each share gives rise to one vote.
One additional vote is allocated to all registered shares held for at least 5 consecutive years
(double voting rights)

When a share is divided between :

  • the bare owner, who owns the share,

  • and the usufructuary, who receives the dividend,

 the usufructuary votes in the Annual General Meeting and the bare owner in the Extraordinary General Meeting.
