Industrial Site Director

After training as an engineer, I joined Groupe SEB about twelve years ago. First of all, I did a work placement, followed by a VSNE* in Mexico. My assignment consisted in organising a technology transfer relating to the industrialisation of our products. This initial experience allowed me to quickly grasp the industrial processes implemented within the Group. I then worked for five years in the field of Purchasing, from the introduction of sourcing activities, through having responsibility for purchases at industrial site level to being Purchasing director for a sector at Group level. Since 2001, I have been Industrial Site Director in France. I hold dear the values of the Group, which promote an entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, and I appreciate its openness, both in terms of business lines and in freedom of action.

Deputy Administrative and Financial Director

After graduating from a business school and a year’s specialisation in finance, I began my career in Groupe SEB in 1995 in the controlling division of an industrial site in Burgundy (France). Since then, I have successively held the posts of sales controller, central controlling manager and then controller of the Home Cleaning Business Unit in Vernon (Normandy - France). Since late 2003, I have been Deputy Administrative and Financial Director for two of the Group’s companies.
Within Groupe SEB, I appreciate the place given to taking the initiative and the opportunities for career development in relation to personal commitment. The Group has an international dimension while remaining “on a human scale” and flexible, encouraging freedom of action. You very quickly have direct contact with decision-makers, which allows you to see the impact of the action carried out.

Industrial Director

Following an engineering degree and an additional year studying management, I joined Groupe SEB as production director at the Is-sur-Tille industrial site (Burgundy - France), specialising in the manufacture of deep fryers. 4 years later, I became responsible for another bigger industrial site dedicated to the manufacture of other small domestic appliances. And, quite recently, I have just given an international flavour to my career by taking on the post of Industrial Director for our 4 Brazilian plants.
What I really like about my job is the diversity of the fields in which I am involved. In fact, I steer all of the departments present on site: Human Resources, Research & Development, Purchasing, etc.
I also enjoy making a strong contribution to the development of our activity in an increasingly aggressive competitive and economic climate.
In my view, the essential qualities for success in this post are the ability to listen and team-managing abilities.
What I like about Groupe SEB is that I am investing in an organisation on a human scale that has been able to develop strong values and a strategy that has become established in the long-term through a family shareholders agreement. This environment has allowed me to develop both personally and professionally.
