Developing skills
Identifying, managing and developing individual and collective skills, some of which are strategic, is a major priority for Groupe SEB. We constantly strive to increase our knowledge and improve our management methods and skills by creating easily-accessible networks and centers of expertise, ensuring employee mobility, both functional and geographical, promoting best practices and naturally, by maintaining an active training policy. Training takes place primarily at Groupe SEB University, launched several years ago. We believe that our way of mobilizing the skills of each employee, through an organization that allows for both responsibility and delegation, is a key element of our competitiveness. At Groupe SEB:
  • each employee is responsible for the development of their own "portfolio" of skills
  • each manager is responsible for team performance and for the development of each team member.
