Over the years, through its cookware and small domestic appliances, Groupe SEB has developed close, day-to-day relationships with consumers. This relationship reflects the successful alliance of powerful, attractive brands, high-performance, eye-catching products and efficient distribution networks.

These strengths have been leveraged to build world leadership in Small Domestic Equipment and achieve top ranking in nine product families:


Groupe SEB has also capitalized on its regional brands to establish very strong positions in many markets. In Europe, we rank first in electronic weighing instruments and third in hair dryers, styling brushes and straighteners, hair removal products and mobile heating appliances. In South America, we are top ranked in electric fans.


Our global leadership is thus built on a combination of powerful international positions in certain product families and on dominant or very strong national or regional market shares in others. Three-quarters of total sales are generated by product families in which the Group is the worldwide leader.

 
This global leadership is supported by a constant focus on innovation, with the goal of providing consumers with practical, convenient products that satisfy their current needs and even anticipate their future aspirations. Faced with an offering that is often commoditised, innovation represents the key to ensuring the highest-quality small household equipment and creating differentiation in terms of design, performance and styling.
