Our goal: 100% "clean" production plants

Respect for the environment is nothing new for Groupe SEB: some sites have had departments dedicated to that end for over 15 years. But the company continues improving the environmental performance of its manufacturing and logistics sites.

It is making strides in ISO 14001 certification, a global environmental benchmark.  At the end of 2009, ISO certification was held by all the production and logistics units forming part of the Group for at least five years.

If recent acquisitions such as Supor are included, the figure for entities now up to the Group’s environmental standards is 75%. Action plans are currently under way to achieve the target of 100% by the end of 2012.
