GROUP EMPLOYEES COMMIT AS MENTORS
Chemins d’Avenirs has worked since 2016 to foster equal opportunities for young people from “peripheral” France, i.e. rural areas and small towns.
The organization supports them and sponsors junior-high and high school students. It helps them to build their civic, academic and occupational lives to fulfil their potential and goals to the same degree as young people from large cities.
Chemins d’Avenirs has notably implemented a system of individual and fully digitalized sponsorship in which sponsors help their protégés to build up their confidence in themselves and their potential, think about their life courses in a new way, and develop their sense of engagement. Sponsors help to broaden the horizons of their protégés.
Chemins d’Avenirs is part of Groupe SEB’s new civic engagement program, “Transmitting Knowledge”, which gives employees the chance to take action through skills sponsorship in the fields of occupational integration and education.
The Groupe SEB Fund’s financial contribution will notably serve to support 280 young people in the Vosges area.
