At the 7th Trophées Leaders de la Finance awards organized by Décideurs Magazine and Leaders League on April 20 in Paris, Vincent Léonard, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, was presented with the award for the Best Financial Department of an International Group. The awards were presented at a gala dinner attended by 700 finance professionals from companies, banks and specialized brokerage and consultancy firms.
Commenting, Vincent Léonard said: “This award acknowledges a year of record performances and intensive external growth activity. In 2016, the Group confirmed its status as a consolidator in the small domestic equipment sector through two impressive strategic acquisitions. The financing of those acquisitions, achieved swiftly with diversified instruments and under particularly favorable financial conditions, confirms the quality and credibility of the Group’s signature on the financial markets. But, above all, this prize rewards the commitment, professionalism and team spirit of the 700 people in the Group’s Finance community, to whom I would like to extend my warmest thanks.”
The Trophées Leaders de la Finance awards are attributed to the best companies, teams and individuals in the world of corporate finance in France on the basis of meticulous work by juries made up of professionals. The companies, teams and individuals competing in each category are shortlisted on the basis of research, analysis and rating work carried out by the editorial team at Décideurs Magazine in collaboration with a High Committee composed of corporate finance experts and specialists. The jury panels are made up of men and women selected for their experience in the competition categories in question.
