ARES
“Fostering the circular economy by supporting people in integration programs”
ARES works towards the economic and social integration of people in difficulty or extremely vulnerable situations. The organization also fosters the creation and development of all types of projects with a goal similar to its own.
In 2020, and in partnership with Groupe SEB, ARES created RépareSeb in Paris, a not-for-profit integration company that works to extend the useful lives of small electrical appliances. The organization’s goal is twofold: to help people return to the world of work and to develop a circular economy model based on the repair and maintenance of small electrical appliances. The RépareSeb team benefits from the training and employment services of ARES’s labor division.
The Groupe SEB Fund is providing financial support for the project, which will enable 16 employees in integration programs to be recruited in the first year.
