A coffee shop that brings mental disabilities into our daily lives
People with mental disabilities are twice as likely to be unemployed.
A new “Café Joyeux” coffee shop, supported by the Fonds Groupe SEB, is soon to open its doors in Lyon, giving people with mental or cognitive disabilities their confidence and dignity back and offering them a job in an ordinary environment. This project also helps to counteract the exclusion of these people from the job market and to raise awareness of disability in town centres.
