ÉCOLE DE PRODUCTION SAINT ELOI

ECOLE SAINT ELOI

Professional success for everyone

Helping young people to access employment in jewelry businesses

Saint-Éloi supports and trains young people, including those with serious school and/or social difficulties. It provides them with educational and social support through training in the artisanal and industrial luxury-goods professions, and in particular jewelry and related sectors, by helping them prepare to obtain state diplomas.

The organization’s project is to create a jewelry production school in Annecy mainly addressing 15- to 18-year-olds having dropped out of school. The project is based on the “learning by doing” teaching approach (production accounting for two-thirds of total training time) promoted by France’s national federation of production schools.

Participants will attend a Jewelry and Gem Art vocational course (CAP) with a Polishing minor and a Jewelry and Gem Art trade degree course (BMA) with a Polishing minor.

The Groupe SEB Fund is providing funding for the project on alternative diploma training in jewelry professions.
