De Buyer, an iconic French company since 1830 belonging to the professional division of Groupe SEB, is proud to be associated with the 2026 edition of Bocuse d'Or Europe in Marseille. As a long-standing ally of chefs, every De Buyer utensil is the result of collaboration with the greatest talents in gastronomy. This ongoing dialogue enables the design of tools of unrivalled precision, dedicated to performance.
For the 2025-2027 edition of the Bocuse d'Or, the world's most prestigious culinary competition, the De Buyer brand is renewing its commitment as a Platinum partner, covering the French selection, the European selection, and the Grand Final, which will bring together the best candidates selected from around the world at SIRHA Lyon in January 2027.
Through this partnership, De Buyer puts its expertise at the service of chefs, offering precise tools designed to excel in a competition where every move counts. Frying pans, saucepans, spatulas, or whisks: each utensil is designed to meet high standards and deliver the best results.
De Buyer has been designing and manufacturing kitchen utensils for professionals for over a century. It is therefore an honor to be associated with the largest and most prestigious gastronomy competition and to see the world's greatest chefs training with these products in order to achieve the best results. The success of a recipe depends on technique, the quality of the ingredients, and the utensils.
Guilhem Pinault, President of La Brigade de Buyer.
The contestants will use a kit containing products from the De Buyer AFFINITY range. The utensils in this collection are made from an innovative, hyper-conductive, multi-layer (5-layer) stainless steel material that allows for even cooking while preserving the vitamins in food.
In addition, De Buyer has designed a custom stainless steel saucepan to meet the specific needs of chefs and the constraints of the competition. Davy Tissot, Bocuse d'Or 2021 and President of the Bocuse d'Or Executive Committee, adds:
I wanted a saucepan that respects the chef's technique while pushing the boundaries of traditional utensils. De Buyer understood the challenge and was able to transform this request into a successful special production. It is this ability to innovate with us, the chefs, that is the strength of the partnership.
Since 2019, De Buyer products have accompanied the French team in the Bocuse d'Or adventure, supporting its talents in the last three editions of the prestigious competition. Since then, Davy Tissot in 2021 and Paul Marcon in 2025 have won the competition. Inspiring journeys, driven by a shared passion for excellence, innovation, and culinary craftsmanship.
