Fighting against the widespread social and civic exclusion of young adults in priority neighborhoods
Les Cités d’Or help individuals to find their place in society and thus favor social and political inclusion across the board, notably among young and marginalized people.
The organization has created Les écoles buissonnières 4.0 to develop the initiative and capacity for action of young people in priority neighborhoods. The project has two aims: to foster the social and civic integration of young adults and to ensure buy-in of the educational approach of Les Cités d’Or, its ongoing enhancement, and its implementation by third parties in France.
The system provides young adults with courses on empowerment and good citizenship based on public-interest assignments, regular individual support, and collective support.
The Groupe SEB Fund’s financial contribution to the project will enable support for 122 young people in 2021.
