BMW X ANGELL ELECTRIC BIKES MADE IN FRANCE, AT IS-SUR-TILLE

Groupe SEB has been the exclusive industrial partner of Angell since 2020. The partnership is part of an industrial and shareholding agreement with a stake in Zebra, the company that produces and markets Angell, through its SEB Alliance investment vehicle. The Is-sur-Tille plant, in the Côte d'Or, which manufactured the first Angell bike, will start the production of the bike resulting from the commercial merger between Angell and BMW. The first bike will be available in winter 2023/2024.

The Is-sur-Tille plant is recognized for its know-how in product development, but also for its agility and ability to industrialize complex technological products. The plant, which employs 160 people, took up the challenge of industrializing and manufacturing the first electrically-assisted bike designed by Angell, in partnership with the entrepreneur Marc Simoncini.

Angell has been selected by BMW to support Mini in its multimode and electric strategy worldwide. These bikes will be manufactured in the Groupe SEB factory in Is-sur-Tille near Dijon, as are the Angell brand models, and will be designed in collaboration with the Mini design teams.
