French Law Awards - Enterprise Edition: Groupe SEB ranking 2nd

In the frame of the 1st Law Awards - Enterprise Edition organized by the Leaders League group and the French Magazine Décideurs, Groupe SEB's Legal department was awarded the 2nd rank among the 150 legal, tax or licensing departments in competition. Sanofi achieved the first place on the podium.

After a pre-selection phase based on application, competitors defended their case in front of a jury comprising more than 12 legal directors and representatives of recruitment firms specialized in jurist and lawyer positions.

Groupe SEB’s team has been recognized for several achievements of the past three years:

  • the establishment of a global yet tightened panel of lawyers
  • the deployment of worldwide insurance programs
  • the legal support of connected products launches
  • the management of certain litigation
  • the legal support of SEB ALLIANCE in its investment projects.

This trophy rewards the commitment and professionalism of all the legal teams of Groupe SEB.

Groupe SEB is pleased to announce the success of a €150m, 12-year private placement, with
leading institutional investors.

The placement comes without financial covenants and is SEB's first with a maturity of more than
10 years, enabling it to extend the average maturity of its debt.
