Groupe SEB wins the "Best Sustainable Development Report" prize

Groupe SEB has won the "Best Sustainable Development Report" prize awarded by the French Order of Chartered Accountants, ahead of large companies such as Carrefour and Danone. The prize was given for the quality of the social, societal and environmental information contained in the two 2012 reports: the Business and Sustainable Development Report, and the Registration Document.

For this 14th edition, the three criteria used were the relevance of the information (goals, actions and indicators), its transparency (consistently comparable indicators and reference tables) and the reliability of the information (audited data).

On 3 March, Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise, Chairman and CEO of Groupe SEB, and the Sustainable Development team, were awarded the Trophy at a ceremony in Paris after a conference on the circular economy, a topic that the Group is currently giving careful consideration, particularly from a recycling perspective.
