Groupe SEB Korea held its first virtual launching show on October 13 to introduce the newest Tefal frying pan. This event was broadcasting live through the brand’s local YouTube channel. This new format, which was the first in the Korean kitchen Industry, was successful and received a lot of coverage in the Korean media.
The event was organized in two sessions: one for the journalists and another one for the retailers in order to explain the innovation and technology of the Tefal brand and its global strategy and of course to unveil the next generation of Tefal cookware products. In addition, cooking videos in collaboration with Oh Se-deuk, a popular Chef in Korea, highlighted the strength of this new product and stimulated the taste of the participants.
The new frying pan that was presented, has three major innovations: an anti-scratch coating to guarantee extreme durability lasting up to 6 times longer, a thick induction base to ensure fast and perfect heat diffusion throughout the pan and last but not least: the changed thermo-spot.
70 articles were published by major national and business dailies, a monthly magazine and also several TV news programs dedicated an item to the show. Cooking videos were also posted on Tefal’s social networks (You Tube, Instagram & Facebook) to promote the new product to the consumers which resulted in a lot of positive comments from the community.
