WMF’s Tableware, Hotel Equipment and Professional Coffee Machines divisions were present at the Sirha World Hospitality and Food Service Event held in Lyon from January 26 to 30, 2019. The Schaerer brand was also represented on the booth.
Held every two years, the Sirha is a major event for the food service business which attracts more than 200,000 trade visitors from more than 130 countries. There are nearly 3,000 exhibitors in all, representing all sectors, manufacturers and distributors alike, ranging from large corporations to SMEs.
On the WMF-Schaerer booth, visitors admired the wide range of professional automatic coffee machines with their accessories and digital functions. The new WMF 1500 S+ and its Dynamic Coffee Assist system proved particularly popular. This function automatically adjusts the amount of coffee and fineness of the grounds. Another innovation is the WMF 9000 F filter coffee machine which dispenses individual amounts of hot water. Visitors had a chance to test the Coffee Club, a compact appliance packed full of features and the Coffee Soul, Schaerer’s new generation fully automated machine.
Tableware was also on display with WWF cutlery, silverware and glassware. Last but not least, the Quadro collection was the star of the Hotel Equipment section
