Supporting better opportunities for young people with no qualifications
The Réseau Étincelle contributes to the social and professional integration of young people lacking qualifications and diplomas. The organization provides these individuals with training to help them gain self-confidence on the basis of their passions and interests, boost the professional potential of each person, enable them to learn about companies, and help them to adopt a fresh viewpoint. Some 500 young people are trained each year, 64% of them going on to become entrepreneurs of their life.
Réseau Étincelle is part of Groupe SEB’s new civic engagement program, “Transmitting Knowledge”, which gives employees the chance to take action through skills sponsorship in the fields of occupational integration and education.
The Mayenne and Pont-Évêque sites in France welcomed the young people from Réseau Étincelle as part of immersion courses. The courses included site visits, talks by and dialogue with employees, CV and interview preparation workshops, and the construction of professional integration plans.
The Groupe SEB Fund is renewing the initiative at its site in France in 2021 to enable more young people to meet with employees and receive guidance on their career paths!
