SIMPLON FOUNDATION

Fostering the integration of women in the digital professions

The share of women in IT courses continues to fall

Simplon Foundation organizes and supports a range of public-interest initiatives of an educational, social or humanitarian nature aimed at promoting a community-minded, inclusive and eco-responsible digital sector that serves people and the planet.

Through the SAS Hackeuses project in Villeurbanne, the Simplon Foundation is working to encourage women to integrate the world of work in the digital sector through a six-week pre-qualification course. In addition to this general objective, the short training courses help the women to build career plans, prepare them for the start of training, and help them to rebuild their self confidence.

The Groupe SEB Fund is providing funding for these pre-qualification courses, which will support 24 women in 2021.
