Supporting the reintegration of former prison inmates
The WAKE UP CAFÉ association provides support for the social and professional reintegration of former prison inmates, who want to find a permanent solution for reintegrating in the Lyon area. They are each offered a customised and adapted solution with the aim of providing them with long-term rehabilitation and (re)integration. Wake Up Café also aims to prevent recidivism by organising a community support group, in which former inmates can share their experiences and help one another. By providing this support towards reintegration, Wake Up Café aims to change the views of society and companies towards the reintegration of prisoners who have just left prison.
The Fonds Groupe SEB provides financial support for the association's work in the Lyon area, which will help 50 prison inmates or leavers.
