LE FOYER NOTRE-DAME DES SANS ABRIS
Foyer Notre Dame des Sans-Abri (the Notre-Dame homeless shelter) welcomes, houses, supports and reintegrates individuals in need, isolated people, and families in situations of exclusion. Based in Lyon, the Foyer takes in 3,500 people very year in the Rhône département.
Working together with the Salvation Army, the Foyer is developing a new housing solution on the former site of the Civil Hospices of Lyon in Francheville. The site will house nearly 500 people in extreme vulnerability, reintegrate them through an economic activity, and enable them to take part in cultural, sports and educational activities.
The Groupe SEB Fund is equipping the housing units at the new site with home appliances.
