HEALTH AND SAFETY

Groupe SEB continuously undertakes actions to reduce the number of work-related accidents and limit occupational diseases. This policy is supported by more than 30 health, safety, and environment coordinators across all our international industrial and logistics sites. Furthermore, we have committed to certifying our health and safety management system (ISO 45001). As of the end of December 2022, 100% of the Group's industrial and logistics entities now hold this certification.

SAFETY

Since 2012, we have also implemented our global program "Safety in SEB," which formalizes the Group's minimum requirements beyond compliance with national and international regulations. It places particular emphasis on the involvement of employees as actors in their own safety. For example, safety is one of the points reviewed daily by production teams in our factories. Each month, all accidents occurring within the Group are summarized in a newsletter sent to all managers (including the Executive Committee) and the Health and Safety community.

This "Safety in SEB" approach has yielded results: since 2019, the number of work-related accidents with leave has decreased by 58%. This is evidenced by the continuous decline in LTIR (Lost Time Injury Rate) since 2019. In 2022, the LTIR was equal to 0.84, which means we have achieved the objective set for 2023 (LTIR < 1) one year ahead of schedule.

HEALTH

In terms of health, we focus a significant part of our efforts on preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) of the upper limbs and lower back pain. The goal is to prevent their occurrence and halt their progression, which is a significant challenge for industrial sites, especially in Europe, compounded by an aging workforce and an extended duration of activity. The Group's action includes raising awareness and training, integrating MSD prevention from product design, and implementing specific measures at the sites.

As part of the prevention of psychosocial risks, the Group has deployed a training program for its managers in France, as well as an external listening service with a specialized firm.

2023 TARGETS

- Cut the number of workplace accidents to reduce LTIR below 1
- Ensure ISO 45001 certification in health and safety standards across all its manufacturing sites
