During the first lockdown, there was a major spike in the e-commerce business. We had to meet the demand while carrying out quality controls and adjustments on different products. What’s more, we were understaffed. We were able to meet this challenge by prioritising our daily tasks and drawing on our versatile skillsets - one of the strengths of the Alençon site. I think it’s important to simplify all processes, where possible, to optimise our time and focus on high value-added actions. We should also maintain our flexibility in order to meet increasingly varied demands as quickly as possible. I would like to congratulate all of the site’s employees for their commitment and personal investment, which enabled us to continue working during this time. Collectively, we were able to adapt and push our respective limits.
